Welcome to Tactical Event Solutions
tactical event solutions (tes) builds enduring relationships by facilitating and customizing events, creating face-to-face experiences within your organization, or between it and key stakeholders. It was founded in 2009 by Bob Marchese, who spent the last 13 years planning events for IBM as an Independent Contractor (full time) and now on as "as required" basis.
In the current economic climate, many corporate events were eliminated or reduced in scope as technology replaced personal contact. However, recent studies in the second quarter of 2010 have indicated an increase in face-to-face events. Many companies, large and small, have realized that building relationships on a personal level makes good business sense!
- a tri-state company (including several dealerships with different car brands) needs to create an experience that both reaches a wider audience and stresses "trust and integrity"
- a New York/New Jersey wine dealer wants to provide a tasting for a new series of wines from Argentina
- a Connecticut regional hotel chain needs to stage an event showing off it's "21st Century look and feel"
Why choose tactical event solutions?
Bob has experience as a consultant in planning over 900 key events for IBM during the last 13 years. Prior to that, he had opened up the European office of a small US software company. Bob was an IBM salesman for (and later consultant to) small and mid-size companies.
Many companies have realized that an effective way to gain expertise, without having to have an actual employee, is to outsource the skill to an independent contractor - witness the activity around Crowdsourcing. This is seen by many as a viable business alternative and, perhaps, the wave of the future.
What is the business value?
For virtually any organization, business value comes from the willingness of consumers to buy your product or service. After this past year, integrity and trust are two values that have gained primary importance - and many people require an experience for you (as owner or senior executive) to prove it.
"Tactical" events are those that can build enduring relationships - tactical event solutions (tes) can help
